The h2o is directed via a detachable area skimmer to a bespoke micron filter sock, and from there to the MAX protein skimmer. The skimmer implements Purple Sea’s REEF-SPEC requirements for SPS corals, passing the complete volume of your aquarium water via the skimmer somewhere around three times per hour and by using a 3 to 1 water-to-air ratio.
